Problem
Promoting initiatives in Web3 communities is a major challenge, as users are frequently bombarded with new projects competing for attention. Many engagement efforts fail to clearly convey their value or create a connection with the local audience, resulting in low participation and poor retention.
In the context of Humanity Protocol, there was a need for a communication and engagement strategy that clearly conveyed the project's value proposition and vision to the Portuguese speaking audience, while simultaneously standing out among the numerous existing Web3 initiatives.
Solution
To strengthen the Humanity Protocol's position within the Portuguese speaking community, an integrated community, content, and engagement strategy was implemented, acting as a bridge between the global team and local users.
The actions included: active moderation and management of Portuguese language channels on Discord; creation of educational campaigns, online events, challenges, and gamified activities with a reward system; and continuous collection of user feedback and its dissemination to the global team for improvement of functionalities and experience.
This approach ensured clear communication, greater regional presence, and a more engaged, aligned, and informed community.
Challenge
The main challenge was building trust with diverse audiences, from beginners to advanced users.
Other challenges included: adapting technical content into language accessible to the Brazilian/Portuguese audience; maintaining continuous engagement on channels that previously had low activity; and creating event schedules and gamification systems that were truly motivating.
Overcoming these obstacles required strategy, close relationships with users, and constant integration with other ambassadors and teams.
Summary
As Ambassador & Moderator of the Humanity Protocol in the Portuguese-speaking community, my work focused on education, engagement, and strategic expansion, strengthening the project's presence in the regional community.
Through moderation, content creation, interactive events, and partnerships, I built a more active community aligned with the protocol's global vision.
